Altitude Advisory Business Advisor Jack Thiel has been shortlisted for the prestigious Accountants Daily Australian Accounting Awards 2018.
Jack has been named as a finalist for the Rising Star of the Year Award.
Now in its fifth year, the Australian Accounting Awards recognises the exceptional contribution of individuals and accounting firms across 31 categories.
Jack, who joined Altitude Advisory in 2017, said: “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work in an awesome industry, filled with so many passionate people, helping to guide the exciting future of small business. To be recognised publicly by Accountants Daily is something I never saw coming, but sincerely appreciate.
“Although I must say, a lot of this nomination comes back to the people who have invested significant time in me, whether they be from my team at Altitude, or my many business mentors.”
Winners from the individual categories will automatically be shortlisted for the coveted Accountants Daily Excellence Award.
Accountants Daily managing editor Katarina Taurian said: “It’s great to see such a diverse mix of firms, from micro-businesses right up to nationwide networks. We are also pleased to be recognising the broader role accountants play in their locales and in the lives of their clients.
“Accountants are the backbone of small business in Australia, and the community flow-on effect is enormous.”
The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards dinner on June 1st at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.
